1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging Newcastle Design Studios for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms form the basis of the agreement between us for all work carried out.
2. Services
Newcastle Design Studios provides website design, custom programming, SEO, site maintenance, business profile optimisation and banner ad design services. The specific scope of work for each project will be agreed in writing prior to commencement.
3. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Any work not included in the original scope may be subject to additional charges, which will be agreed with you in advance.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be agreed at the point of engagement. For website design projects, a deposit is typically required before work begins, with the balance payable on or before launch. Invoices are due for payment within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide all content, images, logos and information required for your project in a timely manner. Delays caused by the late provision of materials may affect project timelines and could result in additional charges. You confirm that any materials you provide do not infringe third-party rights.
6. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of final payment, all design and code produced for your project becomes your property. Newcastle Design Studios retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
7. Revisions and Changes
A reasonable number of revisions are included in all design projects. Significant changes to the agreed scope, or revisions requested after a project has been approved and moved into development, may be subject to additional charges.
8. Limitations of Liability
Newcastle Design Studios will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential losses arising from the use of or inability to use any website or digital service we have provided. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the relevant service.
9. SEO Services
We cannot guarantee specific rankings or positions in search engine results, as these are determined by search engine algorithms outside our control. We commit to applying best-practice SEO methods and working diligently towards agreed objectives.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing service agreement with 30 days written notice. In the event of termination, you will be liable for payment for all work completed up to the date of termination.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
